The 2011 Barbaresco is a simple and tight wine. Stefano Farina presented both a Barolo and a Barbaresco from the same vintage, and the result of the latter is stripped down and simple.

This offers very ripe strawberry, with beautiful focus and wet earth in the forest. Full-bodied, with a solid core of fruit and supervelvety tannins. Long and fruity. Focused and precise.
