The 2007 Lacrima di Morro d'Alba Passito (500-milliliter) ages in barrique and tonneaux for two years. This is a deeply concentrated dessert wine with an inky black and impenetrable appearance. The bouquet is lavish and opulent with deep layers of dried prune, rum cake, toasted cinnamon and blackberry syrup. The wine wraps thickly over the palate with sweet viscosity.
