With an ample 35,000 bottles made, the Tenuta Cavalier Pepe 2019 Greco di Tufo Nestor is zesty and fresh with minty apple and a hint of wild sage or cut grass. The vineyards used to make Nestor are located at high elevations, ranging from 450 to 700 meters above sea level, and those altitudes are one of the most important elements required for making quality Fiano and Greco-based wines in Irpinia, Campania.

Compared to the Fiano di Avellino, the 2015 Greco di Tufo Nestor is even drier and more mineral-driven still. True to the Greco grape, this wine offers a more subdued quality of fruit with greater emphasis on lime, kiwi and honeydew melon. This is a perfect easy-drinking white that would pair with vegetable-based appetizers or salad lunches on the outdoor patio.

Aromatic, with Thai basil, marjoram, ground ginger and cardamom notes, this crisp white is lightly chalky in texture, featuring herb and spice threads that wind through subtle white cherry, green pear and tangerine flavors.
