Readers looking for a huge, fruit fix should check out the perfumed, black raspberry and blackberry-scented 1995 Shiraz. This medium to full-bodied wine is loaded with fruit. Soft, with low acidity, and a luscious, fleshy finish, it is a hedonistically-styled wine to enjoy over the next 5-6 years. Trevor Jones is an up and coming star in the Barossa Valley. This gutsy, medium ruby-colored wine, made from 30-100 year old vines, has flamboyant aromatics. When it hits the palate, it reveals more fat, pepper, tar, and cassis flavors, low acidity, excellent richness, and a chewy, fleshy finish.
