The 2007 Chianti Classico Riserva is a big, powerful wine that muscles its way across the palate with impressive depth and concentration. Here, too, the style is on the quirky side, but there can be no doubting this is a wine with considerable personality. Dark cherries, flowers and French oak linger on the finish.
