Medium ruby-purple, the barrel sample of 2021 Pinot Noir Sojeau Vineyard has gregarious aromas of pomegranate and blueberries with touches of nori, mushrooms and star anise. Medium-bodied and powerful, it offers concentrated, earthy fruit, mouthwatering acidity and a long, flavorful finish.

The 2019 Pinot Noir Sojeau Vineyard is stunning even at this early stage, with delicate cranberry, blueberry and tangerine with wafts of gravel dust and violet. The palate is silky and ethereal, with a weightless feel and loads of floral and earth-laced flavors, finishing very long and perfumed.

The 2018 Pinot Noir Sojeau Vineyard has intense aromas of dark cherries, tobacco, aniseed, earth and savory spices. The palate is seriously styled with a firm, grainy frame and still youthfully wound, earth-laced fruits, and it finishes very long. Give it a couple years in the cellar.
