A fine effort; the Dijon clone fruit takes well to barrel fermentation, and brings a spicy lift to the core flavors of pear, honeydew melon and jicama. A nice balance of fruit and acid, with a touch of toast and vanilla adding a grace note to the finish.——P.G.(12/15/2009)—— 90

This is not the estate bottling, but it is also from Dijon clones, and almost as good. A solid effort, it sports clean, ripe fruit and zippy acids.
