This interesting Cabernet was grown in various parts of the valley, but you can detect a cool-climate influence in the acidity and especially the tannins, which are firm and astringent. Yet the wine, which contains small amounts of Merlot and Cabernet Franc, is remarkably ripe in blackberries, cherries and currants. Shows lots of elegance and complexity.
