The 2006 Pinot Noir Reserve is a slightly deeper color with aromas of cedar, damp earth, black cherry, and plum. This leads to a rich wine with ripe dark fruit flavors, excellent depth and concentration, and good density. It has enough structure to evolve for 2-3 years and should be at its best from 2010 to 2018. Yamhill Valley Vineyards is the oldest winery in the McMinnville AVA, having started operations in 1983.
