The 2006 Pinot Noir Tall Poppy is a limited (200 cases) cuvee with lots of dark fruit aromas and flavors, excellent depth and concentration, a solid structure, several years of aging potential, and a persistent finish. Allow 3-4 years additional bottle age and drink it from 2012 to 2021. Yamhill Valley Vineyards is the oldest winery in the McMinnville AVA, having started operations in 1983.
