This firm, compact red delivers black cherry and cassis fruit, with leafy, licorice and mineral accents and a modest oak component. There's firm, well-integrated tannins and a fresh, leafy finish. Ripe, chocolate, plum fruit, slightly jammy, but good depth and potential complexity. Still a bit raw and young.

A little tight on the nose, with earthy characteristics as well as raspberry and plum aromas. The palate is juicy and offers good flow, while the flavors of raspberry and plum are classic and touched up by vanilla, spice, dill and toastiness. Long on the finish, with tobacco, spice and cocoa.
