The 2010 Macabeu Finca Racons offers very little on the nose, but that dupes you into the palate that comes across like an oaky Chardonnay, with a slightly honeyed texture and creamy finish. It will be interesting to see how this will age. Drink now-2016.
Tomas Cusine began his winemaking venture in 2003. His winery is located in -Les Garrigues- in the village of El Vilosell, with most of his vines located on north and northeast facing slopes at around 700 and 740 metres altitude. He presently tends 29 hectares of vine, a mixture of indigenous and foreign varieties.
