The 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon (blended with 5% Cabernet Franc and 2.5% Malbec) was aged in 65% new French and American oak for 16 months. Purple-colored, it surrenders a captivating nose of pain grille, mineral, smoke, incense, black currant, and blackberry. On the palate it has excellent volume, some elegance despite its size, and enough structure to evolve for 2-3 years. This outstanding value in Cabernet Sauvignon should provide prime drinking through 2022.
