Bodegas Volver's 2010 Paso a Paso Verdejo (from the first Verdejo to be planted in La Mancha), was fermented and aged sur lie in stainless steel. Baking spice, jasmine, peach, and apricot notes inform the nose of this spicy white. Not quite as concentrated and mouth-filling as the better Verdejos from Rueda, it still represents solid value for drinking over the next 1-2 years.
