In my estimation, the 2002 Givry Clos du Cellier aux Moines will evolve gloriously. Its deep, plummy black cherry scents lead to a medium-bodied personality packed with candied dark fruits. Pure, satin-textured, and peppery, this wine reveals loads of ripe tannin in its structure. Its lengthy finish exhibits a trait I love, a parting kirsch-like kiss of sappy fruit.
