From the original plantings, the 2016 Le Maitre Pinot Noir was completely destemmed. Maybe because of that, it lacks some of the floral and tea nuances found in the winery's other bottlings, but it does offer pure black cherries and a silky, nearly weightless mouthfeel. A hint of creamy mocha creeps in on the lengthy finish to add complexity.
