The 2011 Barolo la Serra (with fruit from La Morra) is also redolent of ripe fruit and dried strawberry aromas that are so specifically linked to this warm vintage. This is a soft and immediate expression to drink in the near term in order to take advantage of all that exuberant fruit before it fades.

Very aromatic, offering eucalyptus, mint and licorice accents to the cherry and strawberry fruit. Rich, with a glycerol texture and civilized tannins, this delivers a lingering aftertaste of mentholated herbs.
