The 2009 Bourgogne is a very pretty wine laced with crushed flowers, white peaches and pears. This is an attractive if somewhat delicate wine with lovely balance and a fleeting, mysterious finish. The Bourgogne is made from parcels in Les Herbeux, En L’Ormeau, En la Monatine and Sous la Velle. It is a classy wine at this level. Anticipated maturity: 2012+. This is a fabulous set of wines from Antoine Jobard. The wines are distinguished for their sheer elegance and classiness. The harvest began on September 9. Jobard aged the wines in 15-20% new oak. The wines were bottled in April, with a light filtration on the last 10-15 liters of each barrel.Importer: Importer: Kermit Lynch Wine Merchant, Berkeley, CA; tel. (510) 524-1524
