The 2005 Torre de Golban Reserva was aged for 15 months in French oak. Purple/black colored, it displays aromas of charred oak, pencil lead, damp earth, and blackberry. Medium to full-bodied, on the palate it has decent volume and savory flavors but, overall, it is not a stellar example of the outstanding 2005 vintage in Ribera del Duero.
