The 2004 Montepulciano d’Abruzzo is a generous red packed with super-ripe, jammy fruit that offers excellent length and an accessible personality. It, too, is a superb effort for the money. Anticipated maturity: 2008-2010. I always look forward to tasting the wines of Valle Reale. These are wines of notable personality and character.
