The 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon is ripe and full in the mouth and shows incredible density of tannin and flavor in the mouth. This is looking exceptionally fresh and vigorous and is a pleasure to taste. It has notes of bay leaf, cassis, bramble, kelp, raspberry pip, licorice, roast beef crust, some bone broth and cigar box. The 2008 vintage was a very good one in Margaret River, so it is no surprise that it is showing so well today. The closure is equally very helpful. Matured for 15 months in French oak, 14.5% alcohol, sealed under screw cap.
