Bottled with 9% alcohol and 51 grams of residual sugar, the 2012 Bernkasteler Badstube Riesling Kabinett (AP #2 13) offers a clear and fresh, slightly green-scented nose. Full-bodied, quite sweet and juicy on the still light and piquant palate, this rather mineral-flavored and well-structured Kabinett needs another five years, but should have very good aging potential.
