Dark ruby/purple-colored, with a tight, clean, polished bouquet of cassis, minerals, and toasty new oak, this medium-bodied wine possesses excellent ripeness and elegance. Well-knit and attractively proportioned, it exhibits fine depth, and moderate tannins in the finish. The wine should improve for 5-7 years and last for 15-20. Only the price is lamentable.
