Based on 2008 vintage, bottled in May 2009, disgorged in May 2015, with a dosage of 6 g/l. Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier (1/3 each). The wine was light gold in colour, with intense, fine perlage. It offered baked apple, biscuit, brioche, honey, almond, nuts and some smoke on the nose. On the palate the wine showed ripe apple, peach, nuts, roasted almond, brioche and some smoke, with creamy mousse, slightly tart, medium-plus acidity and very good length of the slightly bitter finish. Good, not great.
