The 2016 Irpinia Privilegio (packaged in a 500-milliliter bottle) opens to pretty tones of toasted almond and sweet marzipan with apricot, white raisin and lots of fragrant acacia honey. This vintage is a touch sticky and gluey on the close. Made with air-dried Fiano grapes, this dessert wine shows abundant aromas of candied orange or tangerine. Some 8,000 bottles were made.
