The 2015 Pommard Villages has a briary and cranberry-scented bouquet with a light marine influence that surfaces with aeration. There is a bit of stemminess here. The palate is medium-bodied chewy ripe red berry fruit, a gentle grip and a little more complexity on the finish compared to the Volnay village. This serves as a very decent introduction to the delights of Jean-Pierre Charlot's classical winemaking style.

Taut and racy, this red packs strawberry, cherry and earth flavors into a slim frame. Though lean, this features a solid core of ripe fruit that lingers on the long finish. Best from 2021 through 2035. 425 cases made, 125 cases imported.??–BS??Region: France / Burgundy / Pommard Select to Add
