Eyrie is not known for producing deeply-colored Pinot Noir, so this wine's light ruby color, reminiscent of a moderately colored rose, should not be surprising. The moderately intense nose of strawberry jam is clean but simple. Medium-bodied flavors offer soft, up-front cherry and strawberry fruit presented in an uncomplicated, medium-bodied, straightforward format. The sound acidity suggests it should be drunk over the next 2-4 years.
