The medium to dark ruby-colored 2000 Gevrey-Chambertin Combe du Dessus sports a nose of violets and black raspberries. This generous, easy-to-love wine is plush, supple, packed with forward fruit, and medium-bodied. Plump layers of candied blackberries permeate its flavor profile as well as its long, silky finish. It should be consumed over the next 5 years.
