De Loach’s 30th Anniversary Pinot, from the same vintage, was a stupendous wine, and while this isn’t as rich, it’s in the same vein. It’s very ripe in cherry pie, cocoa puff, cola and oak flavors, with a honeyed finish. Yet it’s dry, and maintains balance and harmony throughout.
