A step up is the 2011 Sauvignon Blanc Grassini Family Vineyard. Coming from clay and loamy soils and barrel-fermented and aged (11 months), it boasts knockout aromatics of lemon curd, cut grass, white peach and saline-like minerality as well as a medium-bodied, smooth and polished feel on the palate. Showing a fantastic mix of richness and freshness, it should continue to thrill for 5-6 years. Drink now-2019.
