This tiny gem of a property in Cantenac has produced a wine that displays notes of cedar, black currants and some damp earth in a spicy, medium-bodied, elegant, tasty style. It is no weak wine at 14.5% alcohol, and the final blend is equal parts Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.For any mapster, this tiny vineyard is located between Brane Cantenac and Margaux.

This has a solid core of anise, black currant and loganberry fruit laced with lively lilac and iron notes that carry through to a roasted apple wood-tinged finish. Best from 2014 through 2023. –JM
