The 1976 Morey Saint Denis Village is pale in color. The nose is exquisite: beautifully defined with crushed strawberry, undergrowth and light wild mushroom scents. The palate is simple, more because of the growing season than winemaking, with hints of tomato vine infusing the leafy red fruit, hints of black truffle furnishing the finish. Drink and enjoy in the near future if you have any bottles.
