Medium-deep garnet colored, the 2009 Tarot Grenache offers notes of warm raspberries and kirsch with a hint of allspice and whiffs of underbrush and loam. Very full bodied and opulently fruited in the mouth, it has just enough acid to refresh the palate with a medium level of velvety tannins lending texture though the long spicy finish. Drinking well now, it should cellar to 2017. Importer: Ronnie Sanders, Vine Street Imports, Philadelphia, PA; www.vsimports.com
