A new offering to the Conn Valley portfolio, and an impressive one at that, is the 2005 Syrah, which comes from the very southern end of Napa in an area called Green Valley. A black-fruited, meaty wine with some smoked bacon and lard notes, this full-bodied, lush style of Syrah is meant for drinking in its first 5-7 years of life.
