The 2013 Armantes Vendimia Seleccionada is a blend of Garnacha with 23% Tempranillo. One-third of the volume aged in oak barrels for 13 months, while the rest was kept in vat. The nose shows a good combination of fruit and oak, quite subtly spiced and a palate with fine-grained, resolved tannins, that makes it very apt for the table. Juicy and tasty. 17,000 bottles produced.

The 2011 Armantes Vendimia Seleccionada is a blend of Garnacha (60%) with Tempranillo, Shiraz, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. One-third of the wine aged in oak barrels for one year, while the rest matured in vat before bottling. The nose shows good integration between fruit and oak, with notes of cherries and spices. The palate is medium-bodied, with ripe flavors, some jamminess and abundant, dusty tannins that would require some food and/or additional time in bottle. 13,300 bottles produced.
