Made only in stainless steel, the 2021 Alto Adige Gewürztraminer has honey, peach blossom, fragrant tuberose and night-blooming jasmine. The wine is compact and well put together with those abundant floral tones that never appear too sticky or cloying. Natural acidity helps to achieve balance. This is a 50,000-bottle release.

This wine is certainly floral and fragrant but not in an exaggerated manner. The 2020 Alto Adige Gewürztraminer produces a nice sense of clarity with aromas of star jasmine, acacia and honeycomb. The bouquet also releases some savory herbal pulses with sage or lemongrass. If you dig a bit deeper, you'll find plenty of crushed mineral as well. It would make a nice pairing for a ceviche on a summer day. This production of 50,000 bottles is not an overblown expression of the grape and is instead a mild and elegant display of Gewürztraminer.

The Cantina Andriano (Kellerei Andrian) 2019 Alto Adige Gewürztraminer shows fragrant tones of star jasmine, summer peach and sweet almond blossom. As the wine opens in the glass, you also get some licorice and aniseed. It offers a mid-weight approach with some distant sweetness that is carefully folded into the wine's plush, mid-weight texture. The wine is fermented in stainless steel and ages on the lees for a brief six months. An ample 50,000 bottles have been released.

The 2018 Alto Adige Gewürztraminer (with 40,000 bottles made) works beautifully thanks to the purity and freshness of its multilayered aromas. The bouquet peels back to reveal star jasmine, honeysuckle and sweet tropical fruit. This wine boasts all the floral intensity that is associated with this aromatic grape plus the pristine elegance of cool-climate mountain winemaking.

Showing a simple and fresh overall presentation, the 2017 Alto Adige Gewürztraminer offers pretty aromas of honey, beeswax, white rose and musky dried lavender. Some 40,000 bottles were made. This is considered a difficult vintage in Alto Adige because of spring frost and summer heat. This wine has fared very nicely however.
