The 2009 Sauvignon Blanc Andrius possesses more textural depth and richness than the Floreado while maintaining considerable verve and freshness. White peaches, green apples, mint and sage are just some of the aromas and nuance that emerge from this finely knit, elegant white. The finish offers plenty of substance and sheer depth. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2017.
These are the first wines I have tasted from Cantina Andrian. The entry-level wines are clean, well-made and offer good varietal character, but little in the way of true excitement. Some of the higher end wines are decidedly more interesting.
