The 2009 Gewurztraminer is another rich, textured entry-level white endowed with terrific varietal definition and balance in its price point. Ripe tropical fruit, cloves and honeyed floral notes meld together beautifully on the creamy, generous finish. Anticipated maturity: 2011-2013. These are the first wines I have tasted from Cantina Andrian. The entry-level wines are clean, well-made and offer good varietal character, but little in the way of true excitement.
