Many of the Cave de Cairanne's bottling are now under the Camille Cayran brand. The 2017 Camille Cayran Cotes du Rhone Villages Plan de Dieu la Reserve, a Grenache-dominated blend, is a solid success and fine value despite (or maybe because of) low yields and dry conditions. Ripe black cherries fill out the medium to full-bodied palate, joined by silky tannins on the finish.
