This magnificent and historic property has made a dazzling comeback under the direc?tion of its present owners, Constance and Stepnane Droulers, who have established perfectly laid-out vineyards, impeccable viti?culture, and brand-new custom-designed, gravity-fed winemaking facilities. The wines have never been so complete and harmoni?ous. The Haut-Carles cuvee accounts for just under half of all the wines produced and is especially praiseworthy: silky tannins make this a wine you can cellar with confi?dence.
