Aromas of dried cherries, crushed walnuts, dark licorice, nutmeg and crushed rocks. Medium- to full-bodied, a little toasty and austere with firm and dry tannins and a chewy finish. Try after 2026.

Showing a medium garnet color with dim copper highlights, the 2015 Barolo offers pretty aromas of candied fruit, dried raspberry and cassis. Those bright and buoyant aromas are followed by subtle tones of licorice, dried herb, mint and medicinal herb. This Nebbiolo-based wine from Coppo boasts very good overall precision and elegance.

The Coppo 2011 Barolo opens to a pretty garnet color with light ruby highlights. The bouquet delivers some fruit ripeness with blackberry preserves and dried cherry. Tobacco, spice and licorice add balance and weight to the wine's powerful flavor profile.
