The 2008 Cabernet Franc Alder Ridge Vineyard spent 18 months in 50% new French oak. Dark ruby red with an expressive perfume of toasty oak, dried herbs, sage, lavender, and black currant, on the palate it displays a sense of elegance, medium body, and some complexity. Spicy black fruits and very good volume lead to a lengthy fruit-filled finish. Drink this tasty Cabernet Franc over the next 5-6 years. Spicy black fruits and very good volume lead to a lengthy fruit-filled finish. This tasty Cabernet Franc can be enjoyed now but will evolve for another 1-2 years.
