More backward and massive, the 2009 Cornas "H" is more viscous, thicker-looking internationally styled, evidencing some new oak barrique characteristics in its toasty bouquet. This opaque purple-hued 2009 exhibits notes of graphite, blackberries and blueberries along with a full-bodied mouthfeel, huge tannins and massive extract. Forget it for five years and drink it over the following 15-20.
