Bright, with violet and white pepper notes leading into the core of crushed plum, raspberry and boysenberry fruit. Racy acidity, a mouthwatering sanguine thread and a long, lingering mineral accent define the finish. A bit youthfully austere thanks to some pebbly tannins, so cellar to let the fruit fully absorb the structure. This sports a pure, high-pitched profile of red currant, damson plum and Campari notes, liberally lined with white pepper, rosemary and green olive accents.
