Colette Ferret recently passed away, but her estate continues to produce some of today's most exciting Pouilly-Fuisses~a credit to perfectly exposed vineyards in the hamlet of Pouilly itself. Leading French res-taurateurs love these wlnes=-so, too, do top neqociants who buy part of production. The Le Clos is one of the rare successes of 2005, with a density and class that make it the archetypal Pouilly-Fuisse. As good as many Montrachets!
