This 100-case lot, made specifically for the American importer by proprietor Jean-Michel Vache, is 100% Syrah. The wine exhibits a dense ruby/purple color, an explosive, berry-scented bouquet, excellent ripeness, a fleshy, soft texture, low acidity, and generous amounts of blackberry and cassis fruit. Although not complex, it is unquestionably mouthfilling and satisfying. If more complexity develops, it will merit an even higher score. This wine should age nicely for 5-6 years.
