The 1980 Meursault Le Limozin hails from a very challenging vintage, yet it is showing pretty well at age 40. Offering up aromas of buttery pastry, ripe apricots, citrus oil and beeswax, it's medium-bodied, bright and lively, with tangy but integrated acids, a pretty core of fruit and a moderately penetrating finish.
