The 2000 Cotes du Rhone-Villages Vaison La Romaine is primarily from 80-year old Grenache blended with Syrah. There are 500 cases of this tank-aged red. Its dense purple color is accompanied by gorgeous blackberry and raspberry fruit aromas and flavors as well as terrific texture, and admirable succulence and flesh.
