The 2005 Hanenhof Cabernet Franc (85% Cabernet Franc and 15% Petit Verdot) could be compared with certain vintages of Cheval Blanc. An amazing perfume of violets, high-toned red currants, and sweet berries emerges from this fresh, rich, pure, medium to full-bodied effort.
