Named after one of the floral species that inhabit the area, the 2009 Pincushion Sauvignon Blanc has a very fine, Marlborough style nose with hints of tropical fruit interlacing the cut grass and gooseberry aromas. The palate is clean, fresh, very well balanced with lively greengage, lime and ginger and demonstrates a long persistent finish. This is a superb example of South African Sauvignon Blanc.
